According to Creative Loafing Atlanta, Mara Shalhoup has been hired by Chicago Reader to serve as Editor-in-Chief, the role she has previously served for Creative Loafing Atlanta.  This is another management shake-up in recent years, as Ken Edelstein and John Sugg also left the paper.  CL is searching for a replacement for Shalhoup, although a likely candidate at this point would be Scott Henry.  At this point, he’s the only main news writer at the paper who’s worked there more than three years or so.  Okay, well, bye Mara, I guess that means you’re to moving to Chicago.
