EVENT: Live viewing of Obama’s healthcare address
President Obama is set to address a joint session of Congress Wednesday night in order to talk about his vision of healthcare reform.
The Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site is hosting a live, outdoor viewing of the speech. The event will take place at the Peace Plaza 450 Auburn Avenue NE (on Auburn between Jackson and Boulevard).
The event will start at 6:45 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Organizers are offering free parking in the visitor’s lot (Enter on the 400 block of John Wesley Dobbs Ave. NE; on Dobbs between Jackson and Boulevard).
No RSVP is required to attend.
