Clarence Turner Drops Out of Post 1-at-large Race
Hey everybody. I just spoke with Clarence Turner today and he says due to some personal family issues that he has to spend some time out of town and that he has decided it is best to drop out of the race for Council post 1 at large. Turner also has struggled with fundraising.
APN interviewed Turner as part of our series of interviews with leading Council candidates. In that interview, we noted that Turner has an amazing personal story of coming out of youth homelessness. We wish Turner the best in his future endeavors.
Remaining in that race: Michael Julian Bond, Adam Brackman, Dwanda Farmer, Chris Vaughn, Erik Underwood, Neetta Black-heart, and Tonta Draper. We shall see who qualifies. The front-runners in this race are Bond, Brackman, and Farmer. APN has already conducted interviews with Brackman and Farmer, and these will be published soon. Our interview with Bond was published months ago.
This race is expected to go into a run-off.
