APN has been following the VoterGA lawsuit against electronic voting in Georgia for the last 3 years.  After a lengthy lawsuit and discovery process, VoterGA lost its most recent ruling.

Now, the group has filed a notice of appeal to the Georgia Supreme Court, Atlanta Progressive News has learned.

According to VoterGA, “The appeal is expected to contend that:

·        The court misapplied key case law that establishes voting as a fundamental right protected by both U.S. and Georgia Constitutions.

·        The court denied the Plaintiffs’ right to a trial by making numerous conclusions that conflicted with the evidence in the case.”
