US Reps. Broun, Kingston, Price (R-GA) Support Auditing the Fed
Libertarian US Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) has introduced a bill demanding transparency at the Federal Reserve. Most of Ron Paul’s bills are not economically progressive in any way. Also, most don’t get more than one or two cosponsors.
However, this one has 39 co-sponsors, the majority of whom are Republicans, including 3 GA Republicans, US Reps. Broun, Kingston, Price. It also has a few Democrats, including Neil Abercrombie (D-HI), Peter DeFazio (D-OR), and Lynn Woolsey (D-CA).
Paul announced he would be introducing this bill at the recent annual convention of CPAC, the Conservative Political Action Committee.
