Donzella James Eyes Georgia Dem Party Chairmanship
(APN) ATLANTA — Donzella James, a former Georgia State Senator and progressive Democratic opponent to US Rep. David Scott (D-GA) in the recent Primary, is eyeing the Chairmanship for the Georgia Democratic Party, James tells Atlanta Progressive News.
James received national acclaim for her groundbreaking lawsuit against the State of Georgia for certifying her so-called Primary results even though Georgia elections are essentially meaningless because they are conducted electronically without any audit trail.
James says she has been discussing ideas for the Georgia Democratic Party with many state party leaders, and finds her ideas are consistent with those of many Georgia Democrats.
