Georgia WAND (Women’s Action for New Directions) invites you to a rare opportunity to see and hear Representative (D-CA9) Barbara Lee this Sunday, June 28.
Representative Lee, Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus and past Co-Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus will be on hand to sign her book, Renegade for Peace & Justice: Congresswoman Barbara Lee Speaks for Me. Lee is notable as the only person in either chamber of Congress who voted against the authorization for the use of force following the attacks of September 11, 2001. She is a hero among progressives and has been a strong anti-war voice.
