Jeff Anderson Challenging US Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-GA)
Jeff Anderson, who attempted to gain ballot access in 2010 as an independent candidate but failed in his effort to collect enough signatures, is challenging US Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-GA) in the General Election. He went on to serve as a ballot access advocate, working with such groups as Free and Equal Elections.
The new 11th Congressional District seat contains Bartow and Cherokee Counties and parts of Cobb and Fulton Counties.
Anderson previously served as a US Navy pilot and later as a commercial pilot.
